This quote is from an article speculating about what the Holy Father will wear when he comes to the United States and what kind of theological statement will be made. The clothes do make the man and this Pope has been known for his starkly traditional vestments and restoring some of the more interesting papal fashions .

They prefer their Mass in Latin, their priest in a fiddleback and their pope sporting a miter tall enough to touch the heavens. It's not about fashion, they would say, it's about faith. Too right we do and if it irritates the press and the liberals, so much the better I say.
