With Dr. Lucy Carroll ( Director of the Carmelite Monastery Choir and a
Member of our LLA Philadelphia Chapter Advisory Council) I am delighted to tell you
that the Traditional Latin Mass will be offered for the first time in some 40
years at the Carmelite Monastery located at 66th Ave. and Old York Road (near
Broad St.) on Sunday, July 13, 2008 (the 9th Sunday after Pentecost) at 7:30
PM. This Missa Cantata in Forma Extraordinaria will be celebrated by Rev.
Ronald Check with singing by the congregation and Dr. Carroll's Monastery Choir
and guests.

This Holy Mass is part of the Annual Novena to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel from
July 8 through July 16 which features Sung Vespers with Benediction at 4:00 PM,
Holy Rosary is at 6:45 PM, sung Litany of Loreto at 7:00 PM, sacred music at
7:15 PM and Holy Mass at 7:30 PM.

A draft for the musical program for the July 13 Tridentine Mass is as
follows:
