Immaculate Heart of Mary, Save Us!
Among my least favorite studies is end-times prophecy, and I have no intention of going off like some Bible-thumping sycophant. But there are times when, looking at the signs, I wonder if we're living through some events that have been foretold.
In particular, the dire warning of Our Lady of Fatima that "Russia will spread her errors" has been on my mind of late. Surely we've imbibed many of these errors over recent decades, for example, in murdering our own babies and molesting the survivors in our government schools.
But even more to the point today, America is poised to elect a Marxist to her highest office (more). This could be the final straw, the turning point when the USA truly becomes communist.
A communist USA? Beyond possibility? Hear the words of Lucy of Fatima, as recorded in the book Our Lady of Fatima by William Thomas Walsh (more information here).
[Sister Lucy speaking] "What Our Lady wants is that the Pope and all the bishops in the world shall consecrate Russia to Her Immaculate Heart on one special day. If this is done, She will convert Russia and there will be peace. If it is not done, the errors of Russia will spread through every country in the world."
[Professor Walsh] "Does this mean, in your opinion, that every country, without exception, will be overcome by communism?"
Sister Lucy responded: "Yes."
Clarifying further, Professor Walsh asked: "Does that mean the United States of America too?"
"Sister Lucia answered: ‘Yes.’ "
Pray the Rosary every day, that Pope Benedict will consecrate Russia, and that we will not fall from the Faith and lose our salvation.

There's no salvation in politics. Prayer is our only recourse. As Joseph, in Genesis 41, let us also be prepared.

Wow! Never made the logical connection. I don't think the consecration was ever made in the manner Our Lady requested. When the Berlin Wall fell, it was taken as a sign by some as proof that it oocured. At any rate, Russia has not been converted and as you say we are on the brink of a Marxist takeover. Who would ever think it could happen?
