A Look at World Youth Day

Not what you were expecting? Indeed. The group Juventutem is keeping up the Traditional side of WYD. See the series of articles on Rorate Caeli blog for more information.

While there is a Traditional side to WYD, actually more like a little corner of WYD, the rest of the affair is very likely quite non-traditional, if past WYD events are any indication. Even the Vatican admits that parallels have been drawn to the infamous Woodstock concert of 1969. They deny any comparison, of course. For more information, see this review of Cornelia R.
